Still in the Works
I think this summer will be focusing on putting books together rather than trying to churn them out. While overall sales have actually pushed up a bit this month (so far), books tend to do a bit better in the Fall heading toward Christmas.
Did note a little jump in sales for the Great Auk book in the UK this month. Not sure if that is just a topic of more interest in the UK, or if there was some word-of-mouth or whatnot that sparked the interest.
Current projects: still finishing up the Champ Conference book, working on getting the final photos for Eight-Legged Marvels: Beauty and Design in the World of Spiders, and kicking around the idea of recoloring a terrific old newspaper comic, Madge, The Magician's Daughter, that Craig Heinselman pointed out to me.
