Index Page Covers

OK -- turns out I prefer all the covers on the index page. I reorganized it a little bit, but after looking over a few other sites with decent SEO, it doesn't appear that numerous small images on the front page are a problem. People don't mind scrolling, apparently.

Other news -- I got sidetracked again on another theme... Looks like I'll be putting out a few single-author anthologies of classic mysteries. (Raffles, the Thinking Machine, Poe's Dupin, maybe a few more.)

Do you know of anyone who publishes SHORT cryptofiction? I just recently learned of this niche genre only AFTER finishing my 5th revision on a short story. I think that I have wandered into it as I explore my own writing.

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

PS I know you publish books, etc so this is not intended to be a query at all. I just thought you might know who DOES work in short fiction about cryptids.

I've considered putting together an anthology of recent cryptofiction stories, but can't justify the expense for a small market (and paying "royalties" over time for short pieces is a pain).
There is one publisher (Padwolf.com) who has put out two anthologies of short cryptofiction (Crypto-Critters 1 and 2); I don't know if they're planning any more, but you could try them.

Thanks, I will look and see what they have. If not, I think that maybe "speculative fiction" magazines might look at the piece, but it doesnt come across as Fantasy or Sci Fi...anyway, thanks again and I will definitely keep checking out your blog.
