Product Expansion
It's fascinating to watch print-on-demand technology expand and incorporate so many other products. There are several different services out there with various specialities. I've decided to expand my products from books to include vintage reproduction prints. If nothing else, this will let me indulge in more herp-related products, as I have a few very cool old prints (mostly snakes) as well as a few arachnids and some birds. (I also have a very nice king cheetah print by Pocock, but I'll have to figure out if I can afford to license it, as it is still under copyright.)I'll start setting up the prints in the near future, working with ImageKind, which offers a selection of print and framing options, as well as greeting card products. It appears to be reasonably priced.
The image above is Cuvier's Crotalus durissus, a South American rattlesnake. It isn't an exact reproduction, as it doesn't include the peripheral sketches of skeletal material.
