Lower Susquehanna Rock ArtOn certain rocks in the lower Susquehanna River, between southern Lancaster and York Counties, Pennsylvania, archaeologists documented a number of rock carvings, several of which can be seen today. (Some were removed to museums, due to concerns of submersion after dams were built.) This is a facsimile reprint of a 1934 booklet by state archaeologist (Pennsylvania Historical Commission) Donald Cadzow, surveying the petroglyphs and noting a few others in various parts of the state. |
